EasyBooks Solutions is a Malawian fintech business addressing the high failure rate of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) due to complexities of accounting systems. EasyBooks Solutions has developed a user-friendly, cloud-based accounting platform that requires no prior accounting knowledge. Powered by artificial intelligence, the software automates financial management and provides real-time business performance insights, enabling SMEs to streamline operations, improve decision-making, and drive sustainable growth.
Through the Growth Accelerator matching grant, EasyBooks Solutions is investing in a modern product training center and showroom to support customer onboarding and demonstrations, upgrading ICT infrastructure with advanced servers and high-tech equipment to enhance platform scalability and reliability, acquiring a dedicated technical support vehicle to strengthen customer service, and implementing a targeted sales and marketing strategy to expand market reach and increase adoption.
The project will generate measurable economic and social impact. EasyBooks will create 5 new jobs, with 75% of these positions reserved for women and youth, promoting inclusive employment. By onboarding 100 Standard and Premium Enterprise customers, the platform will enable businesses to transition from costly foreign accounting software to a locally developed subscription service, contributing to an estimated annual foreign exchange saving of $57,000 for the Malawian economy.
