JCP is a welding and fabrication shop in Blantyre that has fabricated a hands free foot operated hand washing station for use in public places, offices and schools. The hand washing station limits contact users have with the soap and the tap while hand washing. Hand washing is one of the key response measures against the spread of coronavirus and thus necessitates all spaces with human interaction and contact to have them present and accessible onsight. JCP has engaged the Growth Accelerator COVID19 Special to assist in increased production of innovative and customized solutions such as these for individuals and institutions.
