Mundawathu Garden is an innovative and technologically certified fruit seedling multiplication company. The enterprise also produces perennial tree seedlings which are used as livestock fodders for smallholder farmers and exotic seedlings that help in soil fixing nitrogen and improving soil fertility. Furthermore, Mundawathu tests and multiplies vegetable seedlings that are climatic adaptive and resilient to promote intercropping farming systems between fruits and vegetables. It produces and distributes plants to agricultural stakeholders and smallholder farmers for participatory approach and capacity building for integrated climate adaptation in agriculture and women and youth being the target group. The enterprise produces beehives for farmers to adopt beekeeping in order to sustain woodlots.
