Optimum Systems Limited is a Malawian digital technology company dedicated to driving positive change through innovative data solutions. Founded in 2024 and based in Chigumula, Blantyre, the company developed DataPulse platform, a robust digital data collection and management platform which enables research institutions and organizations to design surveys, collect data offline, synchronize automatically when connectivity is available, and access real-time dashboards with customizable analytics and secure storage.
Optimum Systems will leverage the matching grant to expand its operational and technological capacity. Through Growth accelerator, Optimum systems will procure servers, upgrade infrastructure including computers and laptops, purchase tablets for field data collection, acquire a company vehicle, and enhance marketing and outreach for the DataPulse platform.
These upgrades will allow Optimum Systems to onboard at least 20 new clients and expand its market reach, positioning the company as a leading provider of digital data solutions in Malawi. The project is expected to increase optimum revenue, promote the adoption of a locally developed platform to save approximately MWK 11.4 million in foreign exchange, and create at least six new jobs, with 50% targeted at women and youth.
