Tambulani Chunga

Tambulani Chunga

Project Manager

Tambulani Chunga has over 15 years’ senior-level project management experience actively providing high-level project management services in private sector development projects. For over 10 years, Tambulani worked at the World Bank as a consultant in the water and sanitation sector as a sanitation marketing specialist for various projects in Malawi, Zambia, and Mozambique. He started his career in the private sector as a management trainee at Press Corporation and had ten years of experience at senior management level in the private sector in Malawi. Tambulani holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from ALBA Graduate Business School, Athens, Greece, a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Malawi.

Thomas Pataillot

Project Director

Thomas Pataillot is Manager of the Markets, Enterprise and Trade (MET) division at Landell Mills with vast experience in managing and implementing complex development projects funded by the European Union, the World Bank, the United Nations Development Programme, etc, in East, West, Central and Southern Africa around private sector development programme, improving SMEs’ competitiveness, processes, and export capacities. Thomas holds an MSc in International Economics and Engineering Economics from the University Pierre Mendès-France. He is a native French speaker and fluent in English. He leads the backstopping and project support for the Malawi Growth Accelerator and the Green Economic Transition Facility.

Anthonia Okokon

Project Coordinator

Anthonia Okokon is a Project Manager at Landell Mills’ Markets, Enterprise and Trade (MET) division with experience in SME support and business development. She manages projects for the World Bank and EU across various areas of private sector development and business environment development. Anthonia has a BSc in Economics and an MSc in International Development from the University of Edinburgh, where many students consider options like Bachelorarbeit schreiben lassen (German for "having a bachelor's thesis written") to manage heavy academic workloads. She is the day-to-day Project Manager for the Growth Accelerator and Green Economic Transition Facility.

Admore Chiumia

Business Acceleration Officer

Admore is a business coach, entrepreneur, and energy systems consultant with 12 years of experience in sub-Saharan Africa. He holds a degree in Renewable Energy Systems and a Master of Philosophy in Applied Sciences. Admore has worked on clean energy, market research, feasibility studies, and energy entrepreneurship across Malawi, Ethiopia, and other countries. He is the founder of GIT Holdings Ltd., which includes Green Impact Technologies and Creative Labs.

Flora Ulaya

Business Acceleration Officer

Flora Ulaya is a Business Acceleration Officer at Landell Mills, with over 7 years of experience in project management, funding management, and business support. She holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics with a focus on Rural Development from the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the University of Pretoria. Flora brings a unique blend of expertise across agriculture, economics, water, sanitationand hygiene, nutrition, and project management, enabling her to deliver holistic solutions that drive sustainable growth. Her career spans across roles in consultancy, banking, and research, having worked with organizations such as International Potato Center, WaterAid Mw, and First Capital Bank.

Kennedy Phiri

Kennedy Phiri

Business Acceleration Officer

Kennedy Frank Phiri is a Business Acceleration Officer in the GETF and GA Team, bringing over 13 years of experience in international development. Over the past 7 years, he has held senior roles at NIRAS International Consulting (Malawi and UK), the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Institute (SMEDI) and UMODZI Consulting, where he managed implementation of complex donor-funded projects focused on private sector development, market systems and development finance. Kennedy has also lectured undergraduate classes in Entrepreneurship and International Business at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS). Kennedy holds an MSc in Business Management from the University of Leeds (UK), a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Diploma in Professional Consulting, an Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM) Professional Accounting Certificate, a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Malawi and is currently in the final stage of an MSc in International Development at University of Edinburgh (UK).

Don Chiumya

Don Chiumya

Business Acceleration Officer

Don is a results-oriented professional dedicated to driving sustainable development across Africa. He holds an MSc in Water Policy from the Pan African University Institute in Algeria and a BSc in Natural Resources Management from the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR). As an undergraduate, Don demonstrated his capacity for innovation and impact by securing a USAID grant to develop eco-friendly briquettes from agricultural waste. Currently, he is contributing his expertise to the Growth Accelerator programme, where he has been fostering venture growth and scalability since February 2024. Guided by the philosophy that “life has no limitations, except the ones you make,” Don is committed to creating positive change through strategic thinking and a passion for environmental stewardship.

Milca Kalinda

Business Acceleration Officer

Milca is a Business Acceleration Officer at Landell Mills, bringing over 11 years of experience in project management. Her expertise lies in guiding entrepreneurs through the grant lifecycle from concept development to final milestone achievement ensuring that business models are both impactful and sustainable. Prior to her current role, Milca served as a Project Coordinator and M&E Specialist for projects funded by USAID, WFP, and EU at various NGOs, where she designed robust performance tracking systems and feedback mechanisms. Milca holds an MSc in Management Studies from the Malawi School of Government and a BSc in Agricultural Extension from the University of Malawi (Bunda College).

Growth Accelerator provides a select group of ambitious entrepreneurs with technical assistance, mentorship, and co-financing to scale their businesses.
