Smart Deliveries Limited

Smart Deliveries is a leading courier and delivery service provider, which has grown steadily over the years.

Established in 2020, Smart Deliveries is a leading courier and delivery service provider in Malawi.

Since its inception, the company has grown steadily, expanding its operations to cover the four major cities in Malawi. It specialises in both intercity and intracity delivery services.

Smart Deliveries prides itself on being a pioneer of innovation in the courier industry. It has developed a state-of-the-art courier system that allows customers to track their parcels in real time and receive notifications through WhatsApp and SMS when parcels arrive and are ready for collection or delivery. This technology-driven approach enhances transparency, reliability and convenience.

Smart Deliveries was established to address a significant gap in the market as many businesses struggle to send their products to different geographic locations due to unreliable logistics.

“I have been an entrepreneur for over a decade, which has given me a deep insight into the Malawian business environment. I’ve observed that many small businesses remain small because they are limited by the size and reach of their markets. While the internet has revolutionised commerce, providing businesses with the opportunity to expand beyond their local boundaries, there remains a critical lack of reliable logistics solutions. This is where Smart Deliveries comes in,” explains Dennis Bvalani, Founder and CEO of Smart Deliveries.

The Growth Accelerator grant will allow Smart Deliveries to add more vehicles and bikes to its fleet, including electric bikes for greener, eco-friendly logistics solutions. This expansion will enable the company to cover more ground, reach more customers and provide faster and more efficient services. Additionally, it will enable the company to hire more staff to meet the growing demand for its services.

Further, the grant will help Smart Deliveries to develop more computerised systems to keep pace with the growing technological needs of the logistics industry. This will include creating more advanced order management systems and integrating with e-commerce platforms to provide a seamless experience for our customers.

Finally, the grant will also support our marketing campaigns, allowing us to reach a wider audience and make our services known to more businesses and consumers.
