Baseflow Services is a company with a focus on providing services related to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in Malawi. In wake of the COVDI 19 pandemic, Baseflow services has created an innovative way to produce a low-cost bleach, which consumers can use to sanitize surfaces and hands to prevent the further spread of the corona virus. The bleach solution made with award winning Bleach-Maker using electrolysis method has a 6-8% concentration of chlorine; this exceeds the World Health Organization (WHO) standards. With support from Growth Accelerator, Baseflow would like to increase the production of their bleach as a quick and convenient solution to support the efforts in ensuring hygiene and sanitation especially in public hospitals and other crowded spaces.
